Workplaces can sometimes be quite stressful which can cause people to feel burned out or completely drained from their jobs. In many cases, physicians tend to deal with an astonishingly rate of workplace burnout. Statistics show that there is a 35.2% among physicians while those aged 35 and under experience a 44% burnout rate. It’s important to recognize burnout symptoms before they take complete control over your life. Considering that, here are three warning signs of job burnout that should never be ignored.

  1. Having Trouble Focusing While at Work

    It’s understandable that nearly everyone is going to have a moment while working in which they feel spaced out. That being said, experiencing these feelings often is one of the major signs of job burnout. If you feel burned out or tired of the job you are performing, you’ll likely find that your mind begins to wander to other places which can be incredibly dangerous for physicians.
  2. Dealing With Psychosomatic Illnesses

    Statistics show that nearly 66% of men and women feel that work significantly impacts their overall stress levels. In many cases, stress burnout symptoms can start to leave you dealing with strange headaches or stomach pains that seem to come out of nowhere. Fortunately, this often tends to happen simply due to feeling burned out. Considering that, stress is known to negatively affect the immune system.
  3. Denying That You’re Burned Out

    Sadly, many living with feelings associated with being burned out deny what is happening. While you shouldn’t worry about burnout after one stressful day, these days can begin to add up. Over time, some will simply push these feelings away which is harmful and can cause you end up lashing out. Considering that, it’s perfectly acceptable and encouraged that you come to terms with any feelings of burnout you’re experiencing.
