When an individual experiences lower back pain, they often get up out of bed only to lay right back down again because they do not know what else to do. The muscles are so sore and stiff that they cannot stand due to the pain.

To prevent this from happening, you will want to do light exercises before getting out of bed in the morning. You should perform these exercises in a relaxed environment with little stress and disruption.

Begin by making your body as straight as possible while lying down on your back.

While lying on your back, one exercise to work your core is lifting your arms as high as possible and holding this position for ten seconds. You can also raise both legs off the floor using only your hip flexors to pull them up. This exercise is also an excellent way to stretch and relax the hip flexors vital to flexibility.

These exercises are only a few that you can do to warm up a tight lower back. As you continue to perform these exercises daily, eventually, you will start seeing some great results.
